"And then ay told that idiot ye get the hell outta my offish!" Tia explained. Currently Tia was many drinks down, and completely wasted. Although she offered to buy drinks for the guy at the inn he declined. On the other hand Lumi accepted as it would be rude to decline. But she only ordered juice.
"Oi, yer no fun y'know? Not even a sip of alcohol, how bloody borin’ are ye!" Tia exclaimed as she leaned in while pointing her cup towards Lumi. Her expression held the meaning of, "angry in a cute as hell way."
“General it’s just i’m not good with alcohol” Lumi replied back in a polite yet apologetic tone lying about not being good with alcohol
Lumi doesn’t drink and thinks it’s pointless and can get your guard down and you’d be easily taken out.
A memory suddenly popped into Lumi’s head ‘Remember Lumi, Drinking is bad never accept an invite to a drink’
Tia gulped down another cup before sighing “Ye look dependable but yer eyes say ye need help”
‘What do you mean, General?’
“Ay said what ay said aight? yer eyes say that there’s some unfinished business ye think about.” Tia waved her cup around looking at Lumi
Lumi looked a little shocked. Everything Tia just said was nearly spot on. There’s clearly unfinished business that Lumi wants to end once and for all and it shows with how she behaves
“Looks like ay’m spot on aye? Listen kiddo, Ay ain’t that smart like y’all big brains, but ay can tell when someone ain’t feeling too good. Let go of the past or ye’ll always feel sorrowful.”
Lumi looked down on the table with a sad look on her face. She always tried to hide her past yet someone figured out immediately that she’s still hanging on to something.
Tia realized that the conversation was going to get awkward and instantly called the waiter “Oi put on my tab yea? The Krul family yea.” The waiter immediately took out his note and wrote that down
“Ye get some sleep ‘kay? Report late tomorrow. I don't care.” Tia tapped Lumi’s shoulder
Tia headed out of the inn and Lumi headed back to her room.
Lumi got on her bed and just stared at the ceiling “Maybe she’s right.” Lumi thought to herself before deciding to sleep
‘So you want to abandon us, Lumi?’
‘N-no i can neve-’
‘Then why are you giving up on revenge ? Didn’t you promise to avenge mother? After failing to protect us in the past, you want to abandon us again? You're nothing but a failure.’
Lumi woke up from that nightmare gasping for air profusely sweating “It’s not as easy as you think, Sister.”
It was dawn by the time Lumi woke up. Attempting to go back to sleep now would only result in her having another nightmare. With that in mind she decided to go on a walk.
The roads were quiet and no house was lit except for the inn.
“They sound happy in there, good for them.” Lumi expressed in a calm voice
Lumi looked at the marketplace that used to be raging with people to see that it was completely empty now. She decided to take a walk around for the time being before people appeared.
It was getting close to morning and many shopkeepers were appearing in the marketplace so Lumi decided to head back to the inn to pack up and leave for her first day training with Tia’s unit.
“Who knew a walk could clear your mind a little like that?” Lumi thought to herself
Lumi got back to her room and started packing her stuff up. Afterwards she checked out at the inn’s counter and then headed off to join the unit.
The unit was an hour away from Lumi’s inn which was pretty expected considering the unit was located in the adventurer’s guild’s district. Lumi had the location pinned on a map in her luggage so she knew how to get there pretty easily. Upon arrival it was no surprise that Lumi heard yelling from a familiar voice.
“EVERYONE OF YA 100 PUSH UPS NOW!” Tia ordered her unit as she seemed pissed.
As Tia noticed Lumi, she rushed towards Lumi.“Yo! Kiddo put yer stuff in yer room we got some work to do. Welcome to the Wolf Gang” pointing at the dorms with a welcoming tone.
