“It’s rare for you to call out to me yknow ?”

“Sorry, Gojo. But I have a question for you”

Gojo raised his eyebrows while nomming at some fruits “Oh? usin’ our weekly question aren’ we ? Go ahead”

“How can I convince the Queen of Denki to cooperate with us and let us help protect the key”

Gojo was so startled by the question he almost dropped the fruit in his hands “What do you mean exactly?.”

Yuuji kept looking at Gojo with a straight and determined face “I want to protect Denki and protecting the key is the only way”

Gojo coughed as he regained his composure “It’s impossible. Don’t try it for your own sake. That’s it for this week’s question. Scram.”

“It’s morning already huh” Yuuji woke up stretching his body then rubbing his hair

“Guess it’s time for our trip to the capital”

After Yuuji got up, He went to the others to wake them up. Allen and Kazuma were not much trouble. Though Allen was feeling a little hungover from the drinks he had before sleeping. Amilia definitely gave Yuuji some trouble. Refusing to wake up and hitting Yuuji’s leg like a kid who doesn’t want to go to school. Eventually she woke up to join the team on the breakfast table.

“So, What’s the plan, Yuuji ?” Kazuma took the initiative for them to start planning

“Well.. I guess first and foremost we should look for a ride to the capital”

Allen rolled his eyes, knowing it’s his job to ask the locals for rides. Afterall, Kazuma’s tone can be scary, and Yuuji is not really a social person “Fine. I’ll do it, But don’t expect me to be able to find a cheap ride”

Everyone nodded in agreement to Allen.

Kazuma looked at Yuuji once again “What about when we get there? how are we going to be able to talk to the Queen ?”

Everyone looked at each other in confusion since they had no idea what to do. Gojo wasn’t of any help either.

“Looks like we’re jumping in blind, aren’t we… Reckless” Kazuma sighed whilst looking at Everyone

Everyone nervously laughed before Allen decided to get up “Alright! I’ll go and ask around for any carriage heading to the capital~”

Everyone looked at Allen nodding their head in agreement whilst Kazuma stared at him.

“Don’t worry~ I won’t do anything stupid” Allen replied with a smirk on his face and a confident pose

Allen, Now outside, started to ask around the town. Shops, Fishermen, even Hunters, but no one seemed to be of any help at all.

It was approaching sunset quickly and with hope all lost, Allen began his journey back to the inn to tell the others about the disappointing news. On his way back, He found an old man with crates and a carriage. The carriage was big enough to fit everyone and the crates. Allen saw this as a last ditch attempt and went straight to the old man.

Allen with a smile on his face “Hello, Sir. Do you need any help ?”

The old man looked at the crates with a frown on his face “I need to move these crates to the capital but I can’t find anyone to protect me on my way there”

‘This is my chance!’ Allen thought to himself with his eyes sparkling “I have a party with me. We can help you get there, Sir.”

The old man looked at Allen with a smile on his face “That would be of great help, Young man. Can you get them now so we can head over to the capital ?”

“Sure thing!”

Allen ran as fast as he could back to the inn to get everyone. The moment he arrived he didn’t even catch a breath before telling his party to pack up.

It didn’t take long for everyone to get their bags again since they didn’t really open their luggage.

A few minutes later everyone was ready and they headed off to see the old man

“Hmm.. You all look like capable younglings. Ah, if I can get my youth back.”

Kazuma and Yuuji loaded the crates onto the carriage and got on. As they started moving, someone from a far started shouting loudly “Wait for me! Please, wait for me!”

Everyone looked at each other before the old man broke the silence “We can let him on. Numbers are gonna help us with monsters along the way”

The man ran and eventually caught up. It was crammed at first but they figured out how to get comfortable with everyone on board

The man was having a hard time breathing from all the running “Phew… Thought I’d never be able to catch you guys.. Name is Albert, Albert Gerschek”

The man was dressed in all black. He wasn’t the tallest but certainly not short, He had black hair, and a small beard.

Albert started talking non-stop once he caught his breath, explaining why he was in such a hurry to catch a carriage “My fiancѐ lives in the capital. We actually met during a book event but i had work overseas at The great land of earth so we kept in touch in messaging”

Allen with a smirk on his face looked at Albert teasing him “Oh? We have two lovebirds ? Are you going to marry her ?”

Albert looked away shyly confirming what Allen said with everyone laughing

“I’ll start moving so we can arrive on time, Younglings. Hold tight.” The old man with the reins to the horse in his hands notified our party

The carriage set off to the capital, Hoping to arrive as soon as possible.
