"Oi ,daughter. i heard you failed again in the tests again. listen if you're not cut out for this it's all ok me and your mom are still proud of our dear daughter"
"that's what my father said on that day i failed another test in the army academy. it wasn't the best of times i suppose"- thought boryana to herself
back in time a few years prior to our story
"HAHAHA, you lost again you purple cat. can't believe your father was in the royal army" -said Thomas
"Son of McAllister! behave right now!"-said general marcus
"Are you ok boryana ? you need a rest ? "-said general marcus gently
General marcus was a captain and teacher in the royal academy he was tall and had big muscles you'd mistake him for a mountain
"i'm alright general. sorry i was such a failure again "- said boryana looking very down and disappointed
"Hey listen. you don't have to do this if you don't want to. i know Rudiger won't let you push on if you don't want"- said general marcus kindly
and sighed boryana in response to this
"Everyone! please head to your dorms you have a test in 2 days it's an important one be sure to work hard and get some rest as well i want you all to make me proud "-said general marcus announcing this big event
and as boryana was walking down the corridor going to the bathroom she heard general marcus's voice and decided to listen in
"Yes, Rudiger... she's working extra hard to not disappoint you. i really want her to succeed after all this work. she puts in a lot of effort and somehow fails it feels like everything is against her. yes i'll do that see you soon dear friend "
After 2 days the test started
it's a 1v1 tournament to test skill,intelligence and strength and boryana was up against an old foe (Thomas)
"Look who decided to show up it's the failure" -said thomas arrogantly
"I'm not gonna lose to you " -said boryana with a mean look on her face
After a long battle that took over 30 minutes
and the results were ....
"Not bad not bad you scratched me there with your sword weird cat"-said thomas looking down and aiming his sword at boryana's head
"And the winner is ,Thomas McAllister"- said general marcus
"Please may everyone who's done with their battle head to their dorms"
"boryana... you did well. you can succeed next ti-"
"sorry general marcus i'm heading to my dorm"-said boryana sounding as if she's gonna blow up from tears
and after that boryana stayed in her bed all day just sleeping all day long
"I'm worried about her. i mean it's only a lose to one of the best warriors out there"- said one of boryana's roommates
"me too... we just have to leave her be i guess..." -said the other roommate
"Boryana we're heading to take a bath ok if you need anything we'll be there"
to which boryana didn't even care to respond to with the 2 girls going out
"why am i a failure why can't i become like dad and mom they both were royal knights they both were the best at what they did ...THEN WHY AM I SUCH A FAILURE-" as boryana said that last line a bright purple light sparked across the whole dorm building
A loud bang could be heard across the entire academy
rushing to the spot ,general marcus, arrived there out of breath and as fast as he can
"BORYANA , ARE YOU.... OK " -said general marcus looking in horror at what happened to the room
while boryana looked up tears in her eyes and holding onto the necklace that had the family photo in it
"Boryana... you got a magic crystal !"-said general marcus surprised
"And that's how i got moved to the special troupes program for crystal holders ... to this day i still failed in a duty"- boryana thinking to herself
"Hey! purple neko! you're coming with us to the royal hospital as well ? " -said yuuji breaking the line of thought of boryana
"I told you my name is boryana and i'm the captain of the warriors. stop calling me neko!" -said boryana coming back to reality
